Root vegetable chips

Partners well with homemade mayo!

Ingredients

  • An array of root vegetables - I use, sweet potato, in all varieties (orange, white, purple); turnip, celeriac, parsnip, etc.
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt & pepper
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200deg celcius.

  2. Slice your veg anyway you choose - keeping in mind, the thicker your chips, the longer they will take to cook. Place on a baking tray, lined with baking paper (this makes clean up oh so easy!)

  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt & pepper.

  4. Bake for approximately 20mins, turning once for optimal flavour!

  5. Add some sesame seeds and enjoy - especially with homemade mayo - recipe to follow.
