Basil pesto


  • 1 Bunch Fresh basil (about 80g)
  • 80 g Pinenuts
  • 70 g Hard cheese I use goats
  • Olive oil Approx. 1/4 cup
  • Pinch Sea salt


  1. Place everything, except oil, into blender and blend on high until combined. Add the olive oil slowly - you may need more or less depending on consistency. This is very much a 'use your tastebuds' recipe - add more salt if you need, a splash of lemon juice if you prefer. 

  2. Pesto is a fabulous addition to almost any meal or snack.

    We have it on pizza, toast, in a stir-fry, drizzled over roasted vegetables... the list goes on!
