Hummus Dip

The perfect snack & meal topper!


1 tin of chickpeas (strain & save the brine!)

1 tsp crushed garlic

1 tsp cumin

Pinch of salt/pepper

Juice of half a lemon

1 tbsp tahini

Water - as required for your desired consistency


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor, blender, mini wizz or similar. 

    Process on high for 30 seconds or until combined. Add water slowly until dip is your desired consistency.

    To garnish, add chopped coriander, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, cumin - or whatever your heart desires.

    This is a staple in our fridge. Healthy, delicious and the perfect accompaniment to most meals!

    *If you don't have a 'whizzer', you can use a potato masher or a fork - your dip will be a little more chunky, but still delicious!

    *Alter the salt/lemon proportions to suit your tastebuds.
